Job summary

Mittera is seeking Press Assistants on all shifts in Pineville, NC. This entry-level role supports the Press Department by stacking, bundling, and preparing printed products for shipping, while assisting in operating the web-fed offset press and related finishing tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of manufacturing/office experience, with strong reading comprehension and basic math. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years manufacturing/office experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and memos.
• Strong communication skills with all levels.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Capable of meeting deadlines under stress.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Jog and hand-palletize printed products off the press equipment.
• Stage stacker equipment to meet current job requirements.
• Pack boxes per load tickets and store for shipping.
• Check printed product for quality defects.
• Assist during make-ready: wipe blankets, change ink, clean up around the press.
• Keep press areas clean and stocked with supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
