Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. is seeking an experienced Roll Shop/Machinist helper to read blueprints, inspect rolls, and support rebuilding and aligning mill components. You will use drawings, specifications, and precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet exact tolerances.
Responsibilities include disassembling and installing mill stands, performing adjustments, and assisting with changeovers. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required; 6 months to 2 years in Roll Shop is
$64000 / year (includes base hourly rate plus scheduled overtime, biweekly production bonus and shift premiums).

6 months to 2 years of experience in the Roll Shop is preferred.
