Isola is hiring a C Shift Roll Puller at our Chandler, AZ facility. The role involves locating and staging Prepreg rolls for processing, operating a stand-up forklift, and supporting packing and material handling in CPP.

This safety-sensitive position requires the ability to stand up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and work a Thursday-Saturday schedule with every other Wednesday overtime. The department emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and timely shipment of products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to follow work instructions and safety information.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Locate, review, and understand the process as it relates to placing rolls in and out of the inventory tracking system.
• Monitor temperatures and humidity in the storage area.
• Maintain and record materials usage and product traceability in computer systems.
• Coordinate with the next shift operator to ensure a smooth pass down.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Keep assigned work areas and tools clean and organized.
• Assist other operators to ensure timely shipping of products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a C Shift Roll Puller at our Chandler, AZ facility.

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Thursday - Saturday, plus every other Wednesday (Overtime extended shift and weekend work required)

Compensation: $22 per hour

The Role:

The Roll Puller is responsible for locating and staging Prepreg rolls for processing in CPP/Collation. This operator must be able to operate a stand-up forklift. Additionally, this role is responsible for performing and cross-training in several skill-level "A-B" positions. This includes but is not limited to Packing and Material Handling within our CPP department. The CPP department is a safety-sensitive environment.

• You will be responsible for locating, reviewing, and understanding the process as a roller as it relates to placing rolls in and out of the inventory tracking system accurately.

• You will communicate and work closely with the next shift operator to ensure a smooth shift pass down.
• You will report and resolve discrepancies as they are found.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
• Assist other operators to ensure the timely shipment of products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level necessary to follow work instructions, communicate safety information, and complete job-related documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with supervisors and team members to support safe and efficient operations.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, up to twelve (12) hours per shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or other powered industrial equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• In this role, you maybe be required to stand up to 12 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
