Job summary

Isola is hiring a B Shift CPP Lead at our Chandler, AZ facility to operate a semi-automated machine and prepare pre-preg sheets for the build-up process. You will lead shift activities, coordinate with operators, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on problem-solving while adhering to 6S and production KPIs. Expect schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday–Tuesday, plus every other Saturday, with overtime as needed.

• Plans production operations to achieve daily KPI’s by prioritizing orders, staffing, and equipment.
• Ensures cleanroom operators follow specifications and safety standards.

• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to prevent delays in processing.
• Listen to and address employee concerns as appropriate.
• Maintains 6S standards and seeks continuous improvement opportunities.
• Assist the production supervisor with other duties as needed.

Schedule

6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday - Tuesday, plus every other Saturday (Overtime, including extended shift and weekend work required)

THE ROLE

The CPP Lead is responsible for operating a semi-automated machine to prepare pre-preg sheets for the build-up process.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans production operations to achieve daily KPI’s by establishing priorities for both orders, staffing, and equipment.
• Ensures that cleanroom operators are following specifications and abiding by safety standards.
• Ability to effectively communicate with operators and other leads.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to prevent delays in processing.
• Listens to and when appropriate helps address employee concerns.
• Ensures all 6S standards are maintained and continues to look for improvement opportunities.
• Assists production supervisor with other duties as needed.

INTERNAL ELIGIBILITY:

• Must have successfully completed the 90-day new hire/newly transferred probationary period, unless otherwise approved by the employee’s direct supervisor.
• Must be in good standing at the time of application. Employees are not considered to be in good standing while an active Written Warning or Final Written Warning is in effect. Written Warnings remain active for six (6) months from the date issued.
• Must meet ongoing workplace expectations, including satisfactory performance, conduct, attendance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to work for extended hours, and weekends, and support other shifts as needed.
• Previous Forklift Experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• In this role you maybe be required to stand up to 12 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
