Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented 4-roll Pinch Roll Operator to oversee high-precision metal forming and plate-rolling operations. You will set up, calibrate, and run advanced hydraulic 4-roll plate bending machines to shape metal to strict engineering tolerances, following technical blueprints and procedures.

This first-shift role demands hands-on skill with pre-bending plate edges, adjusting side-roll positions and clamping pressures, and using DRO/NC/CNC readouts to manage radius

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience required in pinch roll operations.
• Experience controlling multi-roll plate equipment.
• Education at least High School.

Responsibilities

• Operate 4-pinch roll machine per blueprints and tolerances.
• Set up, calibrate, and monitor roll alignment and clamping pressures.
• Inspect finished cylinders/cones with calipers and micrometers.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled 4-Roll Pinch Roll Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team and oversee high-precision metal forming and plate-rolling operations. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, and operating advanced hydraulic 4-roll plate bending machines to shape a variety of metals according to technical blueprints and strict engineering tolerances. Key duties include pre-bending plate edges, adjusting side-roll positions and clamping pressures, using digital readouts (DRO/NC/CNC) to manage radius parameters, and inspecting finished cylinders or cones using calipers, micrometers, and sweep templates. The ideal candidate possesses mechanical aptitude, proven experience running multi-roll plate machinery, a firm understanding of material springback and yield strengths, and an unwavering commitment to industrial safety standards like Lockout/Tagout.
