Job summary

Ferrandino & Son, Inc. is seeking an experienced Roll-Off Driver and light equipment operator in the New York area. The role involves dumpster swaps, box truck deliveries, and operating earth-moving machinery in a safe, efficient excavating environment.

Candidates must have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Full-time employment comes with a company vehicle, health benefits and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year Equipment Operation skills - Bobcat, Backhoe, Payloader
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as potentially irregular hours.
• Must possess the ability to operate a smart phone or tablet with email capabilities
• Ability to stand, squat, sit, and walk interchangeably for long periods of time
• Proficient with the use of various hand tools and common power tools
• High school education or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform regular dumpster swapping and box truck deliveries as needed
• Operate and monitor equipment, including Bobcat, Backhoe, Payloader and other earth moving equipment
• Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials as needed, excavate foundations, plant trees, etc.
• Execute machining tasks with precision, adhering to specifications and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.
• Crew members are also expected to provide manual labor and job site cleanup as part of daily activities.
