Job summary

Ferrandino & Son Inc. is seeking an experienced Roll-Off Driver and light equipment operator for our excavation and facilities project teams in Maywood, NY. The role involves dumpster swaps, box truck deliveries, and hands-on equipment operation.

You will operate Bobcat, Backhoe, and Payloader, perform material handling and site cleanup, and uphold safety and quality standards. A valid CDL and clean driving record are required, with full-time, year-round work available.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Min 1 year Equipment Operation skills - Bobcat, Backhoe, Payloader
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as potentially irregular hours
• Must possess the ability to operate a smart phone or tablet with email capabilities
• Ability to stand, squat, sit, and walk interchangeably for long periods of time
• Proficient with the use of various hand tools and common power tools
• High school education or equivalent

• Execute machining tasks with precision, adhering to specifications and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.
• Crew members are also expected to provide manual labor and job site cleanup as part of daily activities

Job description

Ferrandino & Son, Inc. is seeking an experienced Roll-Off Driver and light equipment operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for swapping dumpsters, box truck deliveries, and operating various earth work machinery when needed. A current CDL license, DOT medical card and a clean driving record are also required. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a excavating environment. Operate and monitor equipment, including Bobcat, Backhoe, Payloader and to create beautiful commercial exterior spaces.

Pay Rate Detail:

The range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour or additional based on experience.
