Job summary
Interstate Waste Services (IWS) is seeking a Roll-Off Truck Driver (CDL A or B) to join our team. This position offers home daily schedules, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement. Start time is 6am with Monday–Friday shifts and union benefits, providing stable, year-round work.
You will operate a Roll-Off truck, deliver and remove containers, and ensure DOT safety compliance. Valid CDL, air brake endorsement, and at least 1 year of CDL driving are required; 18+ to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Air Brake Endorsement
- At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 7 years
- Clean driving record and strong safety focus
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Driver position may require lifting up to 50 lbs and moving up to 100 lbs, and mounting/dismounting the truck
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Roll-Off truck
- Deliver and remove containers at customer locations
- Transport waste and recycling materials
- Complete vehicle inspections and DOT paperwork
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Other Duties as necessary
- Routes may require navigating congested communities and tight areas
- Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential
- Driver pre and post inspections and compliance with safety standards
