Job summary

USA Waste and Recycling is seeking a Roll-Off Driver in Massachusetts. The role involves safely operating heavy-duty trucks, loading and transporting large containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycling facilities, and customer locations. Backing maneuvers are essential for success, and a sign-on bonus of up to $3000 is offered based on experience.

Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and Roth

Qualifications

• CDL or higher license required (CDL preferred)
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to regulations
• Ability to read/write logs, reports, orders and maps
• Excellent driving skills and vehicle handling, especially backing maneuvers

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy-duty Roll-Off trucks per OSHA, DOT and local laws.
• Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections and completes paperwork.
• Reports customer complaints, incidents and safety hazards to Route Manager/Dispatch.
• Communicates customer requests to Route Manager/Dispatch.
• Identifies containers needing repair or replacement.
• Maintains punctual attendance and adapts to changing duties as needed.
