Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to safely and efficiently provide waste removal services across multiple sites. This on-site role emphasizes responsible driving, timely pickups, and precise documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDL, have at least 1 year of driving experience or a CDL school certificate, and demonstrate strong safety practices. The position includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide waste-services

Qualifications

• CDL required; ability to operate manual transmission.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual roll-off truck and equipment to collect waste.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document route paperwork.
• Report mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as directed by management.
• Comply with safety standards and company regulations for vehicle operation.
• Keep vehicle clean inside and out and maintain records of services performed.
• May be required to work overtime.
