Job summary

Pratt Industries in Conyers, GA is hiring a Roll Clamp Truck Operator to manage the safe movement, stacking, and storage of large paper rolls used in corrugated board production. You will unload inbound rolls, stage them per schedule, and record inventory data accurately while operating the clamp truck and inspecting equipment.

This role requires adherence to safety policies, daily equipment checks, and efficient collaboration with the corrugator team to sustain continuous operation and accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Roll Clamp Truck safely and maintain a clean warehouse.
• Complete shift inspection reports and submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Read corrugator lineups and follow the daily production schedule.
• Move rolls from the corrugator roll room receiving to stock lanes.
• Document roll movements in mill-wide systems and ensure proper tagging.
• Unload rolls from trailers/rail cars and note any damage.
• Turn in roll stock tallies to supervisor or Scheduling Department.
