Pratt Industries is seeking a Clamptruck Operator/Starch Mixer to safely operate and care for the clamptruck while supporting corrugator lines in Statesville, NC. The role requires reading lineups, marking rolls, and maintaining clean, organized storage areas.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, an active Lift Truck/Clamp Truck Operator License, and preferred experience in corrugated production or with heavy equipment. Flexibility for varied shifts is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred corrugated industry experience.
• Prior industrial power truck or heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• 6 months experience on the wet end of the corrugator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take rolls of paper to the corrugator and record all rolls taken.
• Read corrugator lineups.
• Mark buttrolls with size, diameter, lineal footage and grade.
• Unload rolls from trailers/rail cars and note any damage.
• Operate the clamptruck safely.
• Complete daily clamptruck inspection and submit maintenance work orders.
