Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a skilled front-end developer to build and maintain the ABC News Direct-to-Consumer app for Roku devices and smart TVs. You will work with BrightScript and SceneGraph to deliver responsive, high-performance features across platforms.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure parity across Roku and smart TV platforms. A strong MVVM background and Roku SDK familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of client-side development experience.
• Proficiency in MVVM architecture and Roku-specific SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the ABC News Direct-to-Consumer client app for Roku devices and smart TVs using BrightScript and SceneGraph.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and optimize performance.
