Your day to day as a ROI Specialist

As a ROI, Specialist at Southwest Health System, Inc., you will play a crucial role in managing the release of medical record information with precision and care under the supervision of the HIM Manager. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve receiving and logging requests from various entities such as patients, healthcare providers, and legal representatives, ensuring timely and accurate processing aligned with SHS policies and state and federal laws. You'll be the gatekeeper of confidentiality, verifying authorizations and maintaining security regulations for record access. Your diverse clerical duties include scheduling appointments for record reviews and covering for colleagues as needed, all while collaborating effectively with other departments. You'll enjoy a dynamic work environment that encourages teamwork and offers the opportunity for professional growth while ensuring that patient care remains at the forefront of every action you take.
