Job summary

Southwest Health System, Inc. in Cortez, Colorado, is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse in Emergency & Trauma Services. This onsite role puts you at the forefront of patient care, with opportunities to work in a fast-paced environment alongside skilled professionals.

Competitive pay ranges from $31.38/hr to $53.56/hr, and a $20K sign-on bonus is available for 2+ years of experience. We also offer student loan repayment/tuition assistance for all hired RNs, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 1 year ER/Inpatient experience preferred.
• Enroll in RQI curriculum for BLS; ACLS and PALS upon hire; RQI certifications maintained.
• NRP within 12 months of hire; TNCC within 12 months of hire.

• Deliver nursing care in Emergency & Trauma Services with safety and courtesy.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 1 year ER/Inpatient experience preferred.
• Enroll in Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) curriculum for BLS
• ACLS and PALS upon hire. Maintain current RQI certifications throughout employment.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC Course Completion within 12 months of hire.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.

Skills:
