What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and process medical records requests in various formats (mail, fax, email)
- Update and maintain accurate Accounting of Disclosures for medical records requests
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and clients while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
- Handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism and service quality
- Create invoices for medical record requests in accordance with state and federal regulations when necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Thorough and detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Proven dependability and attendance record
- Ability to interpret HIPAA/Privacy Guidelines and maintain confidentiality
