Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory rodents preferred.
• Ability to learn aseptically perform basic survival surgery on mice using a microscope.

• Willingness to work rotating weekends/holidays and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform perioperative tasks including pre-operative assessments and anesthesia administration.
• Provide post-operative animal assessment, treatment, stocking, and maintenance of surgical areas.
• Pack mice for shipment to customers and maintain complete surgical records.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and continuously develop surgical skills.
• Support additional duties as needed.
