Job summary

INOTIV BOULDER LLC in Westminster, CO is seeking a Laboratory Animal Technician to support animal studies. You will dose rats and mice, collect data, perform blood draws, and run behavioral tests with high accuracy and adherence to safety and welfare standards.

Ideal candidates will have a science background and relevant lab animal experience, with strong teamwork and meticulous record-keeping in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates general lab procedures and scientific method.
• +1 short line to maintain ≤140 chars
• Follows detailed instructions and works independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer doses to rats and mice via oral, IV, subcutaneous, and intraperitoneal routes.
• Perform data collections including weighing, health assessments, and disease progression scoring.
• Collect blood from tail vein, retro-orbital, or terminal draws; process plasma/serum.
• Conduct behavioral tests (Gait analysis, Von Frey, Dynamic Weight Bearing).
• Assist in preparing experimental compounds and supporting rodent surgeries.
• Maintain clean facilities and manage study data in Windows-based software.
