Job summary

Inotiv Boulder LLC is seeking a Lead Research Technician to support Neuroscience studies by coordinating day-to-day activities, supervising junior staff, and ensuring stringent protocol compliance. The role involves dosing, behavioral testing, sample collection, and data management within an in-vivo team.

The ideal candidate has a science degree with animal work experience, familiarity with IACUC, and ability to train others.

Qualifications

• M.S./B.S./B.A. in science with 1–3 years animal behavioral work.
• Animal lab work with mice and rats, including dosing and sample collection.
• Neuroscience behavior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day active studies with the in-vivo group.
• Assist SDs and Study Coordinators with protocol adherence and data accuracy.
• Prepare study materials, cage cards, labels, and data files.
• Read IACUC protocols and SOPs to ensure compliance.
• Administer compounds to rodents via multiple routes.
• Perform behavioral testing and long-term data collection.
• Train junior technicians and supervise in-life study execution.
• Maintain study forms, tissue collections, and necropsy prep.
