Prysmian Group is seeking a diligent Machine Operator for a 12-hour night shift in McKinney, TX. You will safely operate and monitor production equipment, including furnace-related systems, to meet melting rates and temperatures, while logging production data and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and comfort with heavy machinery, heat, and elevated spaces. Training and PPE are provided to ensure a secure and productive environment on site.

This position will primarily support furnace operations, including monitoring molten metal temperatures, oxygen levels, furnace levels, and related equipment.The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment, troubleshooting equipment, making adjustments, and performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.**Essential Job Functions*** Operate and monitor production machinery and furnace-related equipment.* Maintain proper furnace melting rates, temperatures, oxygen content, and molten metal levels.* Perform routine checks of furnace burners, tap holes, spouts, launders, holding furnaces, hoses, lines, and related equipment.* Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure they remain within required operating ranges.* Identify equipment or process issues and make necessary adjustments.* Troubleshoot mechanical problems and replace or repair parts as needed.* Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.* Calibrate and monitor equipment such as CO analyzers as required.* Check equipment for air and gas leaks and report or correct issues.* Start up and shut down equipment following company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.* Maintain required production and maintenance records.* Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures.* Perform other production or machine operator duties as assigned.**Requirements*** High school diploma or GED.* Previous manufacturing, production, machine operating, or mechanically inclined experience preferred.* Ability to troubleshoot equipment and make basic mechanical adjustments.* Comfortable working around industrial machinery, excessive heat, and high-voltage equipment.* Ability to work in tight spaces, underneath machinery, and on elevated structures when required.* Ability to push, pull, and lift heavy objects or machine parts with or without assistance.* Ability to stand and work for extended periods.* Must be able to work a **12-hour night shift (6 PM-6 AM)**.**-****Job Offer Fraud Alert**We take the security of our candidates seriously.
