Independence Visitor Center Corporation is seeking a part-time Visitor Experience Associate for the Parkway Visitor Center and Rocky Shop. You will greet visitors, assist with merchandise purchases, and share Philadelphia-area recommendations to create memorable experiences.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales, and knowledge of Rocky history, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or visitor services.
• Excellent communication, salesmanship and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills; comfortable with POS systems and CRM.
• Passionate about Rocky/Philadelphia culture.
• Reliable transportation and ability to stand for 4 hours.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors at The Rocky Steps and assist with merchandise purchases.
• Promote and sell souvenirs, apparel, tickets and tours.
• Provide information about the visitor center, the city and local experiences.
• Manage inventory, restock shelves and process phone orders.
• Support events and promotions at the Parkway center and surrounding locations.
