Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners in Midland, TX is seeking a Laundry Staff member to manage clothing, linen and related tasks for residents. The role requires safety awareness, English proficiency, and teamwork to support daily facility operations.

Typical duties include sorting, washing, drying and distributing linens, labeling clothing, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a long‑term care setting. Some weekend/evening shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Willingness to follow instructions and accept feedback.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and exposure to fumes/dust.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, sit, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Responsibilities

• Collects soiled linen and clothing.
• Assists in sorting soiled articles.
• Responsible for washing and drying soiled articles.
• Transfers clean linens and distributes to wings.
• Assists in labeling residents' clothing as needed.
• Follows safety precautions when using equipment.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas.
• Keeps infection control practices in place.
• Coordinates isolation procedures when necessary.
• Reports accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Attends staff education and meetings.
• Maintains professional conduct with residents.
