Job summary

Stoke Space in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Test Ops Manager for Nova Stage 1 & 2 to lead a fast-paced rocket test program. You will supervise the team that builds and operates test facilities, ensure safety, and push for rapid, reliable testing.

Required are a mechanical/aerospace engineering background, 5+ years in rocket test ops, and 2+ years in leadership. Willingness to relocate to Moses Lake and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of rocket test operations experience with on-console support.
• 2+ years as a team lead or manager.
• Experience designing fluid systems and performing CAD modeling.
• Hands-on build and integration of mechanical/electronic systems.
• Experience writing and operating test procedures and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build fluid, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems for tests.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot test stands and systems.
• Create sustainable engineering processes.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure high uptime and safe operation in hazardous environments.
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Assist with day-to-day site operations and logistics.
