Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Mississippi seeks a Manufacturing Technician B for the 2nd shift to support rocket engine test preparation, testing, and post-test processing at Stennis Space Center.

You will work with engineers and QA staff to ensure timely assembly, testing, and delivery of engines and components. The role involves reading engineering drawings, operating mechanical and measurement tools, and adhering to safety and NASA PRP requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate’s degree with 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, instructions and manuals.
• Experience with mechanical equipment such as high-pressure pneumatic, cryogenic and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly, testing, and delivery of rocket engines and components.
• Perform pre- and post-test processing, inspections, and testing.
• Follow detailed processes for operation and maintenance of test facilities.
