Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B to support the assembly, testing, and delivery of large rocket engines at Stennis Space Center, MS. This role focuses on engine test preparation, testing, and post-test processing, with exposure to engine function and related disciplines.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, working with high-pressure systems, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly, testing, and delivery of large rocket engines and components.
• Prepare engines for testing and perform post-test processing.
• Interpret engineering drawings, instructions and technical manuals.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (forklift, crane, hoist, etc.).
• Travel up to 10% as required and work at heights or in confined spaces.
