Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration Technician (F9 Booster & Fairings) for multiple shifts at the Port of Long Beach. You will perform flight-level quality processing, prepare ground support equipment, and execute large-scale lifts on Falcon 9 boosters.

The role requires hands-on aircraft-like mechanical skills and strong safety adherence. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of technician experience in aerospace or related fields, with license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in aerospace/oil & gas or a certificate from an accredited trade program required.
• Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain ground support equipment for booster lifting/transit operations.
• Perform high-pressure operations on powered and unpowered boosters.
• Carry out large-scale lifts involving flight hardware.
• Proficiently use various mechanical tools and heavy machinery.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings.
• Complete site preventative maintenance per asset management system.
• Collaborate with engineers to drive takt times down and improve repeatability.
• Adapt to rapid changes in a high-paced environment.
• Support coordinated launch vehicle movements and integrated ground operations.
• Assist with dockside recovery vessel maintenance as needed.
