Job summary

The MacColl YMCA and Pawtucket YMCA are seeking enthusiastic Rock Wall/Gym Attendants to oversee the daily operations of both areas, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests of all ages.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families, communicates well, and embraces YMCA policies. Responsibilities include safety checks, equipment setup, harness fitting, supervision, and maintaining clean, organized spaces.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required or within required timeframe.
• Completion of criminal background check and YMCA safety screenings.
• Ability to follow YMCA policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Rock Wall and Gymnasium to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Perform safety checks on harnesses, ropes, mats, and equipment.
• Assist participants with harness fitting and orientation to the facility.
• Enforce rules and provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Set up and break down equipment for programs and events.
