Job summary

iWorld Professionals is seeking a Sr. Continuous Improvement Manager for a consumer goods manufacturing client in the Rochester, NY area. This onsite role focuses on partnering with production teams to improve processes, reduce waste, and boost throughput.

The successful candidate will lead Lean initiatives, map value streams, perform root-cause analysis, and drive KPI-based improvements with cross-functional teams; salary range is $110k–$150k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer goods manufacturing, production, industrial, or plant environments.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, process improvement, manufacturing engineering, or operational excellence.
• Knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing processes and translate findings into practical improvements.
• Strong problem-solving, project leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives from planning through implementation to improve plant performance, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improve workflow, reduce downtime, and increase throughput.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures, work instructions, machine settings, and visual management systems.
• Conduct process and production line studies to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Create process maps, value stream maps, workflows, and other tools to improve manufacturing operations.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify and resolve production losses and recurring operational issues.
• Use manufacturing data and KPIs to measure results and quantify improvements.
• Partner with production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and other teams to implement process improvements.
• Train and engage employees in Lean and continuous improvement practices.
