Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Hesston, KS, is hiring a Robot Welding Part Loader 2nd shift. You will operate a robotic welding line, assemble units, and ensure safety and quality across the build process.

Qualifications

• High School / GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only)
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
• Technical ability to elevate issues when identified
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead

Responsibilities

• assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
• use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product
• control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection
• read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint
• manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools
