Job summary

Mind Robotics is developing generalized physical AI for real-world industrial deployment, with a focus on validation and testing across firmware, controls, and robot runtime. We seek a Software Engineer - Validation & Simulation to build test infrastructure, integrate simulation, and accelerate development without compromising safety or reliability.

The role involves creating automated test suites, integrating simulated sensors, and driving regression tests across multiple teams to ensure robust

Qualifications

Strong software fundamentals with Python and firmware debugging in C/C++ or Rust.
Experience building validation, simulation, or test infra for real physical systems such as robots.

Responsibilities

Design and build automated test suites for firmware, controls, and runtime behavior across SIL environments.
Integrate simulation inputs and dynamic models to stand in for the real robot, including simulated sensor feeds.
Own regression test infrastructure, tooling, and coverage tracking across firmware, controls, runtime, and hardware.
Collaborate with firmware, controls, and runtime engineers to define testability requirements and convert real failures into repeatable tests.
Drive validation burn-down during integration and assembly milestones, tracking issues to closure.
