Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer for Test Infrastructure (SITL/HITL) in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on owning simulation and hardware test infrastructure, developing automated, whole-system tests, and ensuring robust CI integration for nightly builds.

You will work across SITL and HITL environments, build scalable test platforms, chase intermittent failures, and collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to improve coverage and reliability for tower

Qualifications

• Experience owning simulation and hardware test infra for complex systems.
• Proven ability to design and implement automated, whole-system test suites.
• Strong debugging skills to chase intermittent failures across SITL/HITL benches.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow SITL environments, add variants and maintain pipelines.
• Develop and validate HITL benches, including fixtures, power control and instrumentation.
• Own CI integration end to end: scheduling, dependencies, artifact capture, result reporting.
• Grow the test platform in step with product roadmap and hardware generations.
• Make failures diagnosable via log capture, serial console capture, and test artifacts for CI-based debugging.
• Collaborate with firmware, platform and hardware teams to stand up HITL benches and integrate testing into CI.
