Job summary

Sigma Design is seeking a Robot Technician to control robotic systems in real time using HMI tools for testing, demonstrations, and deployment. This in-office role requires precise teleoperation and documentation to ensure safety, quality, and repeatable results.

You will develop SOPs, collaborate with engineers, and support setup, testing, and maintenance while adhering to Sigma Design Core Values. Applicants should have 2+ years of robotics experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical robotics training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years operating robotic or related systems with precision.
• Proficiency with Linux for scripts/diagnostics.
• Experience with VR headsets or similar teleoperation devices is a plus.
• Able to document procedures and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic systems on-site using teleoperation tools.
• Develop and refine SOPs for teleoperation and testing workflows.
• Serve as a Robot Safety Officer ensuring safe operation.
• Follow procedures and safety protocols, identify deviations.
• Collaborate with engineers and data specialists during sessions.
• Assist with equipment setup, shutdown, and basic maintenance.
