Job summary

Trucking People in Towson, MD is seeking a hands-on Robot Service Technician to support assembly, maintenance, and repair of autonomous delivery robots. You will work on mechanical and electrical systems, install sensors, and diagnose issues on-site at our facility or client locations.

The ideal candidate has experience in automotive or industrial maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to document work clearly.

Qualifications

Experience with mechanical and electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
On-site work and local travel required.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Flexible to handle varied tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors and components for autonomous robots.
Install, test LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic sensors and other robotic sensors.
Assemble/disassemble mechanical components and install electronics modules.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and routine inspections.
Travel to nearby locations for on-site maintenance and support the team.
Assist with R&D experiments and testing of new robotics technologies.
