Job summary

WME Express in Towson, MD is hiring a Robot Service Technician to help build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair self-driving delivery robots. This is a full-time, on-site contract role with an afternoon/evening shift. The position pays $25-$28 per hour and includes benefits.

You will assemble components, install sensors and cameras, perform basic mechanical/electrical repairs, and support testing and field operations. Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, electronics, or technician roles.
• Comfortable with basic mechanical and electrical work.
• Able to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables, wiring, and robot components.
• Install and replace cameras, LiDAR, and sensors.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot batteries, wiring, and mechanical parts.
• Use hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Assist with testing and field support.
