Formación

• Coursework or project experience in mechanical/electrical engineering or robotics.
• Experience building or troubleshooting a physical system.
• Basic familiarity with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, motors, and sensors.
• Interest in hands-on prototyping and careful measurement.
• Ability to work with a mentor in a shared robotics lab.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate wheeled platforms by assembling bases and comparing performance.
• Compare wheel configurations and develop repeatable tests for maneuverability and power.
• Prototype lifting platforms and test lifting mechanisms.
• Evaluate lifting performance under defined loads for range and stability.
• Integrate controls and measurements; configure controllers and data-collection scripts.
• Document comparisons; maintain CAD files, wiring diagrams, parts lists, test records.
• Keep experimental hardware ready; organize components and assist with setup.
