Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field required.
• Zero to two years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical calculations to verify design outcomes.
• Use ERP system features including Item Master, BOM, Purchasing and Production modules.
• Attend and lead internal and customer design review meetings.
• Follow ISO procedures and suggest improvements.
• Understand and apply industry standards.
• Travel frequently; valid driver's license and full coverage insurance required.
• Assist in solving technical problems through the project lifecycle.
• Prepare designs, layouts, BOMs, and other engineering data.
• May handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Assist in design and development of robotic and automated systems per customer specs.
• Provide documentation for Final Documentation packages.
• Prepare specs for peripheral equipment (tracks, positioners, weld fixtures, grippers).
• SolidWorks experience required; Solid Edge a plus.
• Adhere to project schedules and budgets.
