Cambridge-Isanti School District 911 is seeking a Special Education Instructional Assistant to support students on the Robotics team at Cambridge-Isanti High School in Cambridge, Minnesota. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED,ParaPro/Para Educator testing (or 60 college credits) and a successful background check.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Work with students during practice and competitions, assist with behavior and de-escalation.
• Refocus students, acknowledge positive behavior, and collaborate with the Robotics coach and Special Education staff.
• Strive to increase student independence; other duties as assigned by supervising teacher.
