Job summary

Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, seeks a Support Engineer to solve mechanical and electrical problems, working with robotics and automation. You will track issues, collect data for cross‑functional teams, and communicate status and planned resolutions to customers.

Responsibilities include designing short- and long-term field fixes, assisting in design reviews, and leading customer meetings to ensure reliability and maintainability of legacy products and new offerings.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience with robotics and PLCs.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming customer issues 24/7/365 and contribute to on-call rotation.
• Form plans to fix issues and coordinate with other teams.
• Escalate issues to relevant business areas for timely resolution.
• Design short- and long-term resolutions for products in the field.
• Participate in design reviews and provide reliability input.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on installation and repair designs.
• Compile data for process and product improvements and write status reports.
• Lead meetings with customers to resolve issues and drive outcomes.
• Support new product development design and retrofit projects.
