Job summary

Faraday Future, a California-based mobility company, seeks a Pre-Sales Application Engineer (FAE) to be the technical backbone of the state sales region. You own every technical touchpoint of the sales cycle—from product demonstrations to on-site deployment and customer training—for the FF EAI Robotics portfolio.

Responsibilities include delivering technical demos and POCs, leading deployment, configuring systems, and providing training; translating customer requirements into feedback for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, field application engineering, or technical deployment of robotics, automation, or IoT products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical product demonstrations and POC projects for education, industrial, events & hospitality, and public safety customers across the assigned state region.
• Lead on-site deployment, configuration, and customer training following deployment SOP.
• Translate customer technical requirements into feedback for FF product and engineering teams; own the technical Q&A loop with customers and partners.
• Maintain and manage the regional demo fleet (inventory, condition, firmware, logistics for events and customer demos).
• Support the PAR Development Manager with dealer technical enablement and certification training.
• Develop scenario-specific application solutions and document them in the regional knowledge base.
• Represent FF EAI Robotics at regional trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.
