Job summary

DoorDash Labs, the autonomous robotics-focused arms of DoorDash, offers a 12-week Software Engineer internship in 2027. Interns will join one of the Perception, Autonomy Platform, or DoorDash Air Cloud teams and work on real problems for customers.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. (CPT for F-1 students possible). The internship will be in person at a Doordash Labs office in San Francisco or Sunnyvale, with location and team preferences chosen during the application process.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
• May/June 2027 start date for a 12-week internship.
• Experience with databases (AWS/SQL), understanding of algorithms and data structures, and proficiency in at least one OO language.
• Ability to write clean code, use version control, and perform unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and ship technical elements with mentor support.
• Accept feedback and mentorship from the team.
• Actively learn about contributed components.
• Collaborate to solve problems for customers and participate in intern programming.
• Present learnings at the end of the internship.
