Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer intern for Summer 2027. The program is 12 weeks and in-person at one of several US offices, including New York, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Los Angeles, or Seattle.

Interns work closely with mentors to develop, maintain and ship features while learning about the stack and systems that power our marketplace. You will collaborate with teams to solve real problems for customers, gain exposure to databases and backend/frontend work, and present your learnings in

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, graduating Fall 2027–Summer 2028.
• Available for a May or June 2027 start date (Summer internship).
• Experience with at least one OO language (Python/Java/Kotlin).
• Experience writing clean code, using version control, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and ship technical elements with mentor and team.
• Collaborate with your team to solve problems for customers.
• Learn about and contribute to the elements you work on.
• Present learnings in a final internship presentation.
