Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer for Integrated System Test based in North Reading, MA. You’ll design and extend software for a large test system, collaborating with global teams to diagnose and solve complex robotics problems.

Minimum 5–8 years in C++, Python (or similar) with distributed, multi-threaded applications and strong OO design. Robotics experience plus safety standards knowledge (ISO/10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06) are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software development in C++, C#, Python.
• Experience with distributed and multi-threaded applications.
• Strong object-oriented design skills.
• Robotics software experience is required.
• Familiarity with safety standards ISO 10218 / ANSI/RIA R15.06 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design operating software for a large test system with multiple levels of software.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to diagnose and solve complex system problems.
• Work with global design teams and onsite North Reading, MA teams.
• Travel within US and to SE Asia may be required.
