Job summary

Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Software Development Engineer to advance robotics systems, simulation environments, and AI/ML technologies in customer production settings. You will evaluate technologies, participate in architecture reviews, and help deploy solutions globally in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The role requires a Master’s degree in computer engineering and 4–6 years of robotics software experience, with strong math skills and proficiency across programming languages.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer engineering or a similar technical discipline.
• 4-6 years of software development experience.
• 4-6 years of robotics experience with industrial robotics and/or autonomous systems.
• Strong mathematical background with numerical solvers and stochastic analysis for ML.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and technologies.
• Experience with web technologies and communication/ integration methods (TCP/IP, sockets, Docker, gRPC).
• Background in control programming and peripheral interfacing (sensors, vision systems).
• Experience deploying robotics/simulation/AI in production environments.
• Ability to collaborate with globally distributed teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for robotics systems, simulation environments, and related production technologies using multiple programming languages.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and evaluate system design, integration approaches, and technical feasibility.
• Experiment with and evaluate new robotics, simulation, and AI/ML components through prototypes and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Prepare technical assessments and recommendations for engineering leaders and executives.
• Define implementation and deployment plans for technologies selected for customer production use.
• Execute and support production deployment, integration, and validation of approved technologies.
• Collaborate with teams across the U.S., Asia, and Europe in an Agile environment to deliver concrete results.
