Job summary

HavocAI seeks a Robotics Simulation Engineer to build and maintain high-fidelity simulation environments using Unity, Unreal Engine, and related tools. You will develop configurable scenarios, sensors, and edge-case conditions to validate autonomous systems across boats, drones, and ground vehicles.

You will work with autonomy stacks and testing infrastructure, creating automated workflows, SIL/HIL tests, and scalable simulation workflows to accelerate development while improving reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field and 3+ years building simulation software or robotic simulation tooling.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine for 3D simulation environments.
• Strong programming skills in C++, C#, Python; experience with automated testing tooling.
• Ability to integrate simulation with autonomy stacks and mission software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain simulation environments and tooling using Unity/Unreal Engine.
• Develop configurable scenarios, agents, sensors, and test environments for autonomy testing.
• Support simulation across maritime, aerial, and ground robotic platforms.
• Create automated testing workflows and regression checks for simulators.
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Software, Perception, and Product teams to deliver reliable simulations.
