Job summary

Faraday Future is seeking a hardware-software integration engineer to develop and validate our robot SDK across humanoid and quadruped platforms. You will own edge-side integration, device bring-up, and the developer platform including Skill Store, Console, and content creation tools, from web frontend to verification on real robots.

As the roadmap evolves, you will build simulations, train and deploy motion policies, and ensure every interface runs on real hardware and is usable by third-party

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/EE/Robotics or related field.
• Experience building software that others depend on (SDKs, libraries, APIs) or embedded/hardware systems.
• Proven knowledge and passion for robotics software and developer platforms.
• Strong Python or C/C++ production-grade skills with tests.
• Familiarity with Linux development and robotics middleware (ROS 2/DDS/MQTT/gRPC).
• Hands-on with real devices: bring up hardware and diagnose failures on site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate robot SDK across humanoid and quadruped robots.
• Own edge-side integration and hardware bring-up (compute boards, sensors, buses).
• Build and maintain developer platform tools (Skill Store, Console, content tools).
• Develop simulations and train/deploy motion policies on real robots.
• Ensure interfaces run on real hardware and are usable by third-party developers.
