Job summary

We are Molg, a Sterling, VA-based robotics startup building automated systems for electronics manufacturing. You will join a hands-on team of software, mechanical and electrical engineers to advance core robotics technologies, from motion planning to perception, with a focus on real hardware and production-ready software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience developing automated solutions using 6 DOF robots.
• 3+ years of experience in Python3 or C++.
• Proficiency with ROS, ROS2, or another robot-oriented software framework.
• Proficiency with unix/linux systems, shell, git, containerization, CI/CD, OOP.
• Strong grasp of robotics principles: transformations, forward/inverse kinematics, closed-loop control, motion planning, localization.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality, testable code for built/integrated robotic hardware (i.e. microfactories).
• Building core CAD to robotic motion and grasp planning workflow software.
• Developing and expanding advance simulation and motion planning capabilities.
• Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers on tooling, fixturing, vision systems, and control systems.
