Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation’s Seattle Robotics Lab is seeking PhD-candidate interns to contribute to cutting-edge robotics and AI research. You will develop algorithms for robotic manipulation, integrate them into real-world systems, and collaborate across robotics and ML teams.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in PhD program in Robotics, ML, CS, EE, or related field.
  • Strong research track record with first-author publications in top venues.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python; familiarity with C++, CUDA, and Warp is a plus.
  • Experience with robotics frameworks (ROS2) and physics simulators (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim).

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms, foundation models, and methods for robotic manipulation and loco-manipulation.
  • Integrate methods into real-world robotic manipulation systems (collaborative/industrial/mobile/humanoids).
  • Contribute to multi-person research projects across robotics and ML stacks.
  • Engage with academic community through publications, conferences, and code releases.
  • Develop AI agents to accelerate research while ensuring correctness and reproducibility.
