Job summary

Symbotic in Wilmington, MA, is seeking a Repair Supervisor to lead a 10–15 person team in electro-mechanical repair and manufacturing operations. You’ll schedule work, enforce safety, and drive quality improvements across the repair process.

You’ll apply hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to company policies while maintaining a safe, efficient shop floor. Experience with robotic systems is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree from a vocational school/college within a mechanical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in the Machine Shop or Manufacturing Assembly Environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS preferred.
• Experience in a robotic environment preferred.
• Previous leadership preferred.
• Hands-on, highly organized and self-motivated.
• Able to lift 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, prioritizing tasks and reporting results.
• Maintain compliance with the current schedule.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment and enforce procedures.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly.
• Supervise a group of 10–15 employees/contractors.
• Ensure team follows company policies and procedures.
• Maintain stock of tools and consumables in good working order.
• Document performance, training and attendance of employees.
• Demonstrate good time management and organization skills.
• Understand safety and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
