Responsibilities

• Operate Rovi through defined routes, scenarios, and real-world situations.
• Evaluate performance, reliability, and consistency of robotic systems.
• Observe for differences or unexpected behavior between test runs.
• Follow written testing procedures and test plans.
• Repeat tests across software builds, hardware configurations, environments, and operating conditions.
• Maintain attention to detail during repetitive testing.
• Identify unusual robot behavior, hardware issues, software bugs, navigation problems, and inconsistencies.
• Document failures clearly with steps, environment, and evidence for reproduction.
• Capture photos/videos, test results, and environmental conditions.
• Assist with robot setup, charging, staging, and resetting.
• Perform basic troubleshooting between tests.
• Keep Rovi prepared for efficient testing.
• Occasionally travel with the Rovex team to testing environments.
• Support field testing and real-world evaluation.
• Receive testing priorities from engineers and execute tests independently.
• Provide clear, organized results for engineering review.
