Job summary

Civ Robotics inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to own and continuously improve testing across robotics products, including Android apps, software, hardware integrations, and cloud services. The role blends hands-on testing with automation to ensure reliability in real-world robotic deployments.

You will collaborate with robotics, software, hardware, product, and field teams to identify issues early, improve product quality, and ensure releases are deployment-ready.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• 3+ years of professional QA/testing experience.
• Experience with robotics or complex multi-component systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for robotics products and applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain automated testing infrastructure and workflows.
• Test Android applications used to operate and configure robotic systems.
• Validate complete workflows (robot connection, mission loading, operation, reporting).
• Run tests in HITL/simulation environments and with physical robots.
• Develop and maintain long-running reliability tests and overnight tests.
• Perform exploratory and edge-case testing to identify failures.
• Reproduce, document, and track issues with logs and data; verify fixes.
